New Lynn Night Market is a global food and culture market nestled in the heart of New Lynn.
We focus on authentic and traditional street foods from around the world, local crafts and family-friendly entertainment.
Opening Hours and Location
Thursday evenings from 5:30pm at the New Lynn Community Centre, 45 Totara Avenue, New Lynn, Auckland.
Wash Against Waste, a programme by our partner EcoMatters, provides dishwashing facilities with crockery and cutlery for customers. Recycling, compostable and landfill waste are sorted and disposed of accordingly every week.
Run a stall at NLNM
Would you like to be part of a unique, growing, community-focused market with affordable stall fees and a friendly team of stallholders, volunteers and partners?
Do you cook, create or provide:
- good food,
- handmade crafts / products,
- mobile massage / manicures,
- eyebrow threading,
- children’s or general books, or
- something else that showcases global food & culture?
Would you like to sing or perform at our market? It is a great opportunity to showcase and promote your talent / group / band, while delighting your local community.
Since we opened in February 2017 under ARMS management, we have been very honoured to have musicians, entertainers and buskers support us with lively performances every week. The best way to know ‘what’s on next week’ is to follow us on Facebook.
2017 line up:
- Jarred Tito
- Magic Veil Belly Dance
- Wal Reid
- David C Russell
- Helen Goudge
- Blast From The Past
- Avondale College
- Will you be next?
A few of our stallholders are members of the WISE Collective. Your purchase from a WISE stall not only guarantees you a delicious dinner, but helps stallholders who are from a former refugee background to support their families.
- Walk or cycle
- Bus or train
- Drive (parking available) – note that for safety reasons we cordon off part of the area around the market – please follow signs or directions from traffic management staff on site to get to the parking area behind the community centre.
We thank our partners, stallholders, volunteers and customers for their support.
